What is the reason for erectile dysfunction during masturbation?

Patient's question:

I have masturbation, now I can't get it up, my waist also hurts. I'm 24 this year. Can I take fewer capsules? Is there any better medicine?
Thanks!

Doctor's answer:

Hello: Hello: Many men cannot determine whether they suffer from impotence, but in fact, they can judge the nature of impotence from the nocturnal erection of the penis. Normal men of all ages can experience reflexive penile erections during sleep. During adolescence, there are about 6 erections per night on average, each lasting 20-30 minutes; young and middle-aged adults have about 4 erections per night on average; healthy elderly people over 65 still have a total of 1-1.5 hours of erection time per night. Even children often have penile erections during sleep. Obviously, nocturnal reflexive erections of the penis are unrelated to sexual stimulation and are not affected by psychological factors, so they can be used to distinguish whether impotence is caused by psychological factors or by disease factors. If an impotent patient has no nocturnal erections or the degree of erection is below the normal value for the same age group, it may indicate the presence of a disease factor, requiring further investigation to identify the root cause. If an impotent patient has normal nocturnal erections, it is not likely caused by a disease factor but rather by psychological and mental factors. There are several methods for self-assessing nocturnal penile erections:
(1) Stamp Test: Use four to surround the penis, stick the overlapping part together to form a ring, and then go to sleep. In the morning, check whether the stamp is torn. If it is torn, it indicates nocturnal erections. If the overlapping part comes apart due to poor sticking, it is not meaningful.
(2) Penile Circumference Measurement: There is a commercially available tape measure (usually paper-based) with one end connected to a square buckle. Before going to bed, wrap it around the penis, and one end should come out through the buckle. First, record the baseline circumference of the penis in a flaccid state, and then check the data the next morning to see if there is any change. The difference between the pre-sleep and post-wake-up measurements is the increase in penile circumference after nocturnal erections. The normal increase is 1.5-4.1 cm. If the increase is greater than 1.5 cm, the impotence may be caused by psychological factors; if it is less than 1.5 cm, the impotence may be caused by psychological factors; if it is less than 1.5 cm, it may be caused by a disease factor.
(3) Penile Strength Measurement: Use a commercially available paper-based penile strength measuring band to wrap and stick the penis before going to bed. The next morning, observe whether the three small colored bands on the band are broken. If none of the small colored bands are broken, it indicates no nocturnal erections, and impotence is caused by a disease factor. If only the red band is broken, it indicates an ineffective erection, and the cause of impotence still needs to be considered a disease factor. If all three small colored bands (red, yellow, and blue) are broken, it indicates good nocturnal erections, and impotence is caused by psychological and mental factors.
In recent years, there has also been a new innovative device for monitoring nocturnal penile erections. It uses an elastic force sensor ring placed around the penis to sleep, which automatically monitors and records nocturnal penile erections. The next day, after computer processing, it provides a graphical report. Of course, this method should be conducted under the guidance of a doctor. Clearly, self-measuring nocturnal penile erections in impotent patients is very helpful in identifying the cause of impotence. Some patients with psychological impotence see that their penis can normally erect at night, which greatly boosts their confidence, and the impotence is cured without treatment.
