Features: Yan Jinglong was born in Guantao County, Hebei Province in 1955. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hebei Normal University and completed his studies at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Arts, Class IV of the Famous Artists Program. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, the leading painter of the "Jiangshan Xing" painter group of the China Artists Association, a painter in the Landscape Painting Creation Studio of the High Research Class of the China Artists Association, and the Secretary-General of the Landscape Painting Research Association of the Hebei Artists Association. His works have been selected for the 2003 National Chinese Painting Exhibition, the 2nd China Fine Arts "Golden Color Award" National Fine Arts Exhibition, the 16th International Conference of Plastic Artists Association · Fine Arts Special Exhibition, and the 18th New Works Exhibition of the China Artists Association. He has published "Yan Jinglong Paintings," "Yan Jinglong Landscape Paintings." In Yan Jinglong's numerous works, one can see the (randomly turning) resulting from the flexible and lively brushwork, the majestic and spirited charm, the unblocked and unobstructed state of points and lines, black and color, and the qi flowing between the brushstrokes, leading to the result of a (vibrant and lush) style, achieving a hazy and natural realm. It not only demonstrates the subjective individual style but also reflects the aesthetic principle of "harmonizing with nature and spontaneously expressing."
