Features: In its early days, the study of religion was often referred to as "comparative religious studies," emphasizing the need to compare religions. In the context of "globalization" and the "global village," the existence and development of religion itself also require comparison, communication, and dialogue among different faiths, seeking harmonious coexistence and unity through mutual understanding. The establishment of the Christian Research Center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has not only created favorable conditions for us to conduct in-depth research on Christianity but also provided important opportunities for us to broadly engage in comparative religious studies and dialogue. Our research on Christianity is carried out within the broader context of the development of world religions. Without understanding the situation of the existence and development of other religions, it is impossible to delve deeply into and truly clarify the nature of Christianity itself. Therefore, while we focus on the study of Christianity as our primary pursuit for religious understanding and learning, we should adhere to the core spirit of religious studies, expanding our perspectives and deepening our research in comparative religious studies and profound insights into religious dialogue, thereby fostering greater understanding.
