Features: This book is the excavation report on the site and cemetery of Caiyuan Village in Xixian Township, Haiyuan County, Ningxia. The Caiyuan site complex includes three sites: Mayongzi Ridge, Shigou, and Linzi Ridge, as well as five cemeteries: Qiedaoba, Zaiziqiang, Erlingzi Bay, Wangguanzui, and the western slope of Linzi Ridge. They date back to approximately 4,500 years ago and belong to the late Neolithic cultural remains. Over a hundred tombs, more than ten houses, and dozens of ash pits were discovered, along with a large number of pottery, stone, bone, and lacquer artifacts. This provides significant reference value for studying the Neolithic culture in the northwest region, especially offering important material evidence for research on Neolithic settlements, burial customs, and lamps in the northwest.
