Arteries can also have varicocele.

Patient's question:

My varicocele has a certain degree of varicosity. I want to know if arteries in the human body can also become varicosed???
Why???
I really want to know
I hope the doctor answers, thank you

Doctor's answer:

Varicocele can only be treated surgically; it will only worsen and never improve, and there is no exercise that can slow its progression. It is more common on the left side, as the left spermatic vein has a longer course and drains into the left renal vein (while the right directly drains into the inferior vena cava). It may be compressed by the sigmoid colon, and the left renal vein may be compressed by the aorta or the superior mesenteric artery. The right common iliac artery can compress the left common iliac vein, causing partial reflux obstruction of the left spermatic vein. Considering all these reasons, varicocele can only be resolved through surgery, and medication is ineffective.
