Features: Ancient Chinese poetry is brilliant, profound, and lofty, embodying the essence of Chinese culture. Familiarizing oneself with and reciting some Tang poems can often cultivate temperament, enhance qualities, and leave a lifelong impression with innumerable benefits. This book selects 100 well-known ancient poems, including those recommended by the Ministry of Education for recitation. In a relaxed and innovative format, it provides detailed explanations and guidance to help young readers better understand the poems, while also assisting parents in comprehensive tutoring. The book is divided into four parts:
1. "Poem and Pinyin." We have annotated the original text with pinyin. Due to varying interpretations of certain words in ancient poetry, we have chosen the most common understanding for annotation.
2. "Poem as Prose." Instead of explaining the words in the poem through annotations, we rewrite the poem as a prose piece, integrating the explanations within the narrative. This approach allows for a holistic understanding of the poem while also providing a reference for common exercises and exams, such as rewriting poems as prose.
3. "Poetic Appreciation." You can find answers to what makes each poem great and how to appreciate it here.
4. "Poem Stories." These may be stories about a particular poem, a poet, or general poetic knowledge. In summary, reading these stories can provide more background information and help you better understand the poems.
