Features: Striving to draw from the strengths of others and select materials reasonably is another criterion in the compilation process of Progress. The research topics of scholars may vary from year to year; on the same topic, different scholars often have different insights. We strive to avoid selecting topics based on individuals or imposing personal biases, instead focusing on the quality of the arguments and publications and the level of attention the topics receive. This approach helps objectively determine the selected topics and the research achievements related to them, which also highlights the insightful perspectives of some lesser-known researchers who have yet to gain widespread recognition. Progress is a reference book, designed with a "tool" perspective in mind regarding its chapter structure. To facilitate reference and use, each topic is preceded by a table of contents and followed by an index of arguments and publications. Footnotes are used to indicate the sources of the cited research achievements. In the footnotes, the points of view from journal articles are annotated with the author and the month of publication; those from newspapers are annotated with the author and the date of publication; and those from books are annotated with the author, page number, and year of publication. We hope that through Progress, theoretical workers can understand the foundation and value of their own research, and practical workers can gain a general overview of educational research, making the positioning of theoretical research and experimental work clearer and the strategies more well-defined.
