I am 33 years old and have been divorced for 6 years. My wife and I worked at a private company and recently, my glans has been a bit inflamed. When I went to the hospital for a thorough check-up, the doctor told me that I had balanitis. I am very frustrated and also very worried.

Methods for External Treatment of Penile and Glans Inflammation:
(1) For trichomoniasis of the glans, a 0.5%–1% lactic acid solution, a 0.5% acetic acid solution, or a 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution can be used to wipe the glans and inner foreskin.
(2) For candidal penile and glans inflammation, a baking soda solution can be used to clean the affected area, or imidazole ointments such as Daktarin ointment or clotrimazole ointment can be applied externally.
(3) Dandelion wash: Take 30g of dandelion, 30g of chrysanthemum, and 10g of, decoct them in water, and use the decoction to externally bathe the affected area once daily, with each bath lasting about 20 minutes.
(4) Qingdai powder, the main component of which is Qingdai. Take an appropriate amount of Qingdai powder, mix it with a little water to form a paste, and apply it externally to the affected area once daily.
(5) For bacterial-induced penile and glans inflammation, a 3% boric acid solution (200mL) or a 0.1% rivanol solution can be used to externally bathe the affected area twice daily.
