Features: This book is also one of the outcomes of the 2004 municipal-level core teacher training program in history conducted by Beijing Institute of Education. Since this core teacher training program was specifically designed for the new high school history curriculum, the participants conducted in-depth research and discussion on the experimental textbooks for high school history curriculum standards after the intensive training. They also repeatedly deliberated on the writing format, approach, teaching design principles, and layout of this book. The book is divided into four parts: Part 1 introduces the experimental textbooks for high school history curriculum standards published by Renjiaoban, Renmin Press, and Yuelu Press, respectively. The articles are written by the chief editors or major compilers of the three major versions. They focus on elaborating and explaining the writing approach, principles, characteristics, format, and content of each version of the textbooks. Additionally, they provide a series of supplementary books, training materials, electronic and audio-visual products, and multimedia material resource libraries related to the textbooks. These articles hold significant guiding importance for our learning and mastery of the content of each version of the textbooks, while also greatly facilitating our use of the new curriculum materials.
