Features: One of the important theoretical issues in modern finance is how to strike a balance between liquidity and efficiency in the design of the financial system. Liquidity is a necessary element for ensuring the safety of the financial system, and the ability to maintain liquidity is the bottom line for the normal operation of the financial system. In times of rapidly deteriorating external conditions, this bottom line becomes the lifeline of the financial system or its institutions. The Chinese capital market, during its reform and development process, should learn from history and from neighboring countries, adeptly absorbing advanced experiences from developed countries and markets. Following the publication of the series " of the Chinese Securities Market" two years ago, we embarked on the collection of materials and writing work for "Cases of Overseas Securities Markets." In this series, we introduce the regulatory experiences of developed countries and regions through typical cases in four aspects: issuance, trading, information disclosure, and mergers and acquisitions. We hope this will be beneficial to the development of the Chinese capital market.
