Patient's question:
I recently don't know what's going on, my lower abdomen is very uncomfortable, and I'm not getting morning erections anymore. What is prostatic calculi?Doctor's answer:
Prostatic calculi refer to stones formed in the prostate gland or acini, primarily composed of calcium salts and phospholipid salts deposited in normal prostatic fluid. Infection can promote the formation of certain calculi. Most patients have no specific symptoms, often manifesting as benign prostatic hyperplasia, urethral stricture, or chronic prostatitis. Some patients may experience lower back and sacral pain, perineal or penile pain, or sexual dysfunction.
