Features: The scale of the buildings around us is constantly expanding, and environmental changes are becoming faster and faster. Before we can even adapt to the changes brought by a new set of buildings in the city, another set of even larger constructions spreads out like a flood. These buildings evolve from nothing to something, from rough, unrefined concrete structures to dazzling glass facades, from uneven grooves to smooth, mirror-like cement surfaces, and even from the climbing and working construction workers to the busy inhabitants who are gradually discovering these changes. We live in an era of massive transformations, where changes influence our thinking, values, sense of fashion, and lifestyles, among other aspects. Just as a single "good" or "bad" label is insufficient to judge it, a single photograph cannot capture the process of this monumental change. To ensure the documentation of the entire scale of the building without losing details and material textures, Luo Yongjin had no choice but to adopt a clumsy method—piecing together individual shots he had taken. This book compiles some of Luo Yongjin's works, which were shot from multiple angles. Each photograph is relatively independent and highly appreciable.
