The latter is a monograph on the nature of Shang and Zhou society. The main content of the book includes: first, analyzing and critiquing the prevailing historical views such as the "Commercial Capital Theory" and the "Aisan Mode of Production Theory" from the perspective of historiographical theory; second, systematically exploring the process and laws of Chinese social development based on Marxist theories of social formations, combined with the actual history of China.
