The Xinhe Desert Flower Sea Scenic Area is located in Qiaolepanbage Village, Tashiairike Township, Xinhe County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and also a autonomous-region-level civilized unit. The planned area of the scenic area is about 3,000 mu, of which the flower sea covers 400 mu. Construction of the scenic area began on July 8, 2016, with a total investment of 45 million yuan. It has initially formed a multi-format tourism complex integrating desert, flower sea, water bodies, science education, and entertainment. The scenic area has a visitor service center covering an area of 3,800 square meters, a large parking lot of 40,000 square meters, a scenic square of 7,000 square meters, 5 kilometers of pedestrian sightseeing trails, and 3 AAA-level tourist toilets.
Historical Culture
Xinhe County has a long history and was once the military and political center of the ancient Qiuci Kingdom. The Tonggusibashi City Site is the location of the Anxi Protectorate headquarters of the Tang Dynasty. Since ancient times, it has been an important military settlement on the ancient Silk Road, and famous historical figures such as Zhang Qian and Xuanzang once left their footprints here. Qiaolepanbage Village in Tashiairike Township, where the scenic area is located, once had a harsh environment with sandstorms filling the sky. In 2016, Xinhe County firmly established the development concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and desert and barren beaches are also invaluable assets," adopted a model of government building the platform, enterprises putting on the performance, and mutual benefit and win-win results, and turned this place into today's Desert Flower Sea Scenic Area, creating a miracle of combining ecological construction with tourism development.

Flower Sea
The 400-mu flower sea spreads among the sand dunes, planted with more than 20 kinds of flowers such as Chinese roses, peonies, lotuses, and Gesang flowers. Different flowers bloom in different seasons, creating a dreamlike and picturesque scene.
