Features: The collection is divided into four parts: Part I includes important speeches and congratulatory cables exchanged by national leaders of China and India on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. It reflects the strong affirmation by both governments of the historical significance and role of the Five Principles, as well as the leaders' aspirations and confidence in establishing a more just and reasonable new international order guided by the Five Principles. In Part II, political figures, diplomats, and scholars from China and other countries review the history of the establishment and development of the Five Principles, with a focus on their guiding role in developing important bilateral relations and regional cooperation, particularly the theoretical guidance they provide for China's development and practice of new foreign policy concepts. Part III features articles that discuss the Five Principles as fundamental guidelines for interstate relations from different perspectives, highlighting their important practical significance in maintaining peace and establishing a just and reasonable new international order in the new century and under new conditions. The authors include not only Chinese scholars but also former political leaders and diplomats from India, Australia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, and other countries, as well as former UN Secretary-General. Part IV collects original historical documents, providing further insights into the historical trajectory of the formation and development of the Five Principles, as well as case studies of their widespread application in China's foreign policy practice. This will be of great benefit to promoting international peace and stability and advancing the establishment of a more just and reasonable new international order.
