Publish Date: 2006-09-01
Features: The content of this book can be divided into three parts. Part 1 (Chapters 1-5) explains the basic knowledge of communication and the principles of analog communication. Among them, Chapter 2 (Determinate Signals) was added to meet the needs of some schools and majors. For many undergraduate communication engineering teaching, this chapter can be skipped entirely. Chapter 3 (Random Signals) can be reviewed as needed. Part 2 (Chapters 6-10) mainly discusses digital communication, digital transmission of analog signals, and the optimal reception principles of digital signals. Due to continuous technological development and innovation, the content of digital modulation and digital bandpass transmission is very rich. To avoid excessive length, it is divided into two chapters (Chapter 7 and Chapter 8). Additionally, the content of Chapter 8 can be selectively studied or skipped as needed, without affecting the understanding of later chapters. Part 3 (Chapters 11-14) discusses encoding and synchronization technologies in digital communication, as well as a brief introduction to the concept of the Internet of Things.
