Features: As a crucial component of modern rule of law, criminal rule of law plays an increasingly important role in the process of building a socialist rule of law in China. The development of criminal rule of law is also inseparable from the innovation and guidance of criminal law theory. The Annual Report on the Development of Criminal Rule of Law, sponsored by the main members of the Beijing Normal University Institute of Criminal Law, is a continuous academic journal dedicated to promoting the spirit of criminal rule of law and advocating academic innovation. In fact, the Annual Report on the Development of Criminal Rule of Law is currently the only specialized research report in China that focuses on the study of the development of criminal rule of law in the criminal field. Since its inception in 2002, the Annual Report on the Development of Criminal Rule of Law (2002–2004 volumes) has been officially published by the China University of Political Science and Law, and has received widespread praise from both the theoretical and practical communities of criminal law in China. Due to the report's ability to reflect the most current practical issues in China's criminal rule of law and embody the latest research achievements in the field of criminal law in China, and its close relevance to the hot and difficult issues in the current development of criminal rule of law in China, it has also attracted significant attention from national legal leadership bodies and legal practice departments.
