Prostatitis, why is it not treated well?

Patient's question:

I am 42 years old. Two years ago, I experienced many poor symptoms such as frequent urination and incomplete urination. At the local regular hospital or institution, I was told that I had prostatitis. This has been confusing me. During the past two years, I have been continuously treated and tried many treatment methods, visiting many doctors, but the prostatitis always recurs. What is the reason why it always doesn't get better?

Doctor's answer:

The treatment of prostatitis itself is inherently prone to recurrence. This is due to the inherent structure of the prostate. Because the prostate is surrounded by a fibrous capsule, it makes it difficult for drugs to penetrate into the prostate gland. If, during the course of treatment, there is a recurrence, such as engaging in unsafe sexual activity, it may lead to the recurrence of this inflammation. Wishing the patient a speedy recovery and good health!
