Features: Confident people maintain an open attitude toward new "ideas." They are willing to share "ideas" regardless of their source and do not demand that everyone create their own "ideas" or that every self-created "idea" must earn "credit." We are beginning to develop confidence in our leaders, allowing them to relax, giving them independence and resources, and encouraging them to take bold actions. Successful people naturally develop confidence, which leads to another aspect of personal development: simplification. Talent, especially young talent, is absolutely essential to ensuring a company's prosperity and maintaining an invincible position in the fierce market competition. I must admit that the type of information most useful to me (which I guess is also valuable to all managers) comes from fleeting, often casual conversations, a significant portion of which are conducted over the phone. In today's China, entrepreneurs, managers, and entrepreneurs not only receive unprecedented respect but also contribute to the economic prosperity and development of China, which has become a world-renowned miracle. Of course, whether from the perspective of corporate systems, management, or theory, the achievements we have made today are still relatively preliminary; compared to Western developed countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan, our gap remains quite significant. We have no intention of denying this gap. Since we can draw spiritual motivation from national heroes, we can also gain management and entrepreneurship experience from the heroes of business—management masters and entrepreneurship masters. We know that the CEO of the famous Chinese company Haier Group, Mr. Zhang Ruimin, often draws management inspiration from the works of Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric. Similarly, we know that many young Chinese entrepreneurs regard Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, as their role model. "The power of role models is infinite," as a great man once warned us. Today, management masters are regarded as role models for us, which cannot be considered a step forward in Chinese history. The book presented to you now, Advice from Management Masters, is a highly meaningful publication. The author references a vast amount of domestic and international literature, systematically summarizing and synthesizing the experiences, thoughts, and theories of the most famous business leaders (management masters) in the world today and explaining them in a way that is easily understandable to Chinese readers. We believe that through reading these two books, readers will not only gain professional knowledge in management and entrepreneurship but also receive spiritual motivation and innovative thinking. The names of many management masters and entrepreneurship masters mentioned in the book are likely familiar to Chinese readers. However, their management and entrepreneurship experiences, as well as the value of these experiences, may not be as familiar to us; some experiences may even conflict with our existing concepts. Yet, it is precisely these experiences that conflict with our existing concepts that deserve our careful appreciation. Especially in many fields of our economy today, where we face various problems and challenges, the experiences of the masters clearly hold positive reference significance.
