Features: The "Contemporary Chinese Artists Archive" series is a major co-publishing project between our company, the China Artists Association, and Huayi Publishing House. The series selects one hundred renowned painters and is planned to be released over two years. Each painter in the "Contemporary Chinese Artists Archive" series has their own independent book with a unique ISBN. The content includes the artist's works and biographical introductions. The color sections use imported copperplate paper, while the text sections are printed on lightweight art paper. The books are printed using brand-new Heidelberg presses from Germany. The covers are made of 250g imported copperplate paper, printed in four colors with black and white, UV coating, and lamination.
The "Contemporary Chinese Artists Archive" series is upscale and elegant. So far, the first 20 volumes have been released, with each volume selling over 10,000 copies, creating a miracle in the sales of art book publications. With the release of the series, sales will continue to rise steadily. The 21st century has brought humanity into a brand-new world, and the Chinese art scene has also entered an era of vibrant prosperity. The innovation of Chinese painting is a historical mission bestowed upon contemporary artists by the times. Since the latter half of the 20th century, a group of dedicated painters have made valuable contributions to transforming Chinese painting from a classical to a modern form. They draw inspiration from ancient traditions while using a modern perspective to examine Eastern and Western cultures. Standing at the vantage point of the era, they absorb and embrace a wide range of influences, enriching and innovating, representing the direction of mainstream art development.
The 50 outstanding artists featured in this series are brave pioneers in this exceptional group of artists who bear the historical mission. They each embody the spirit of the times in different fields of Chinese painting—landscape, flowers and birds, and figures—while advancing their art to a more modern stage. At the same time, they have profoundly influenced the prosperity and development of Chinese painting and made significant contributions.
The "Contemporary Chinese Artists Archive" is a comprehensive series, and the "Chinese Painting Section" is only one part of it. In the future, we will continue to publish works by painters in various fields such as oil painting, printmaking, and sculpture to reflect the breadth and diversity of contemporary Chinese art.
