Features: From November 12, 1995, to February 17, 1996, Guo Guangyun was detained in the Shijiazhuang City Detention House for nearly three months. On August 9, 2003, Xinhua News Agency reported that, upon approval by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection had investigated the serious disciplinary issues of Cheng Weigao, former Speaker of the Hebei Provincial People's Congress, and decided to expel him from the Party and revoke his treatment as a first-class provincial-level official. Through his relentless efforts, Guo Guangyun was finally rewarded as he welcomed the delayed justice.
