Features: The variety of Chinese banknotes is extremely complex, and collecting them comprehensively is highly challenging, especially for a single individual. Mr. Wu Keyi is a dedicated collector in this field. He began collecting Chinese banknotes at the age of 14 and had amassed over 2,700 types by 1950. In 1958, he responded to the call and became a knowledge youth supporting the construction of Hubei farms in Shanghai. He spent over 20 years in Hubei before retiring and returning to Shanghai in 1984. His old collection was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. However, his passion for collecting banknotes remained undiminished, and he restarted his collection in 1988. Truly, the heavens reward those who persevere—within just a few years, his achievements have become remarkable, with over 10,000 physical banknotes and images. Today, he has overcome numerous difficulties to compile the materials he has collected into a book, writing the second volume of the five-volume "Catalog of Chinese Banknotes," titled "Four-Bank General Notes."
