Interpretation and Reconstruction of China's Ecological Ethical Tradition

Features: The evaluation of the value of the Chinese ecological ethics tradition, which is based on the concept of "unity between heaven and man," in the contemporary context is a subject of diverse opinions in academia. There are those who excessively praise it, those who completely reject it, and many who interpret it using modern Western ecological ethics as a standard. However, against the backdrop of modern knowledge, it is relatively lacking in adopting a reasonable attitude and scientific methods to systematically, deeply analyze, interpret, and understand this tradition and then draw more reasonable conclusions. This book attempts such an exploration, but I dare not be overly confident in its ability to achieve this goal. If it can inspire academic peers to comprehensively and deeply uncover the valuable intellectual resources of the Chinese ecological ethics tradition, to re-evaluate it scientifically and fairly, and thereby promote its significant role in addressing global ecological crises, then I will be content!
