Features: Currently, the stock reform and listing of state-owned commercial banks have made positive progress. However, stock reform and listing are not the ultimate goal of reform for state-owned commercial banks. Establishing a long-term and arduous mechanism for risk prevention is a long-term and challenging task faced by state-owned commercial banks. This book takes state-owned commercial banks as a sample to analyze the current status, causes, and effects of commercial bank risks, and proposes risk governance strategies. The book first reviews the research status of related issues at home and abroad, then conducts an in-depth analysis of the current status and characteristics of risks and risk management in state-owned commercial banks. It analyzes the causes of risks in state-owned commercial banks from three aspects: property rights agency relationships, superior-subordinate agency relationships, and bank-enterprise agency relationships. It conducts theoretical and empirical analyses of the inflationary and deflationary effects of risks in state-owned commercial banks, and analyzes the risk contagion effect among banks. Finally, it proposes risk governance strategies for state-owned commercial banks.
