Features: "The Golden Snub-nosed Monkey's Journey to the Zodiac Kingdom" is compiled from the essence of zodiac myths, folk tales, and idiomatic stories that have been passed down in Chinese culture for over two thousand years. Each story stands alone, with fantastical and whimsical plots, and humorous, quirky content. The stories include well-known tales like "The Legend of the Ox Without Upper Teeth" and "The Story of the Dog's Tail Continuation," as well as less familiar legends such as "The Legend of the Zodiac and Animal Toe Relationships" and "The Legend of Pan Hu." The film features over 500 cartoon designs, some exaggerated and comical, some detailed and realistic, and others virtual and bizarre. Examples include the clever and adorable, all-powerful Golden Snub-nosed Monkey with a soaring nose, the always curious, little braided fat girl, and the often jumping, big-nosed, bald-headed boy, among others. Behind each design lies a lively, humorous, and witty story. This book is the comic version of "The Golden Snub-nosed Monkey's Journey to the Zodiac Kingdom" (Volume 1, Issue 2).
