Features: "Golden Snub-nosed Monkey's Journey to the Zodiac Kingdom" is compiled from the essence of zodiac myths, folk tales, and idiomatic stories that have been passed down in Chinese culture for over two thousand years. Each story is independent, with fantastical and whimsical plots, and humorous and quirky content. The stories include well-known tales such as "The Legend of the Ox Without Upper Teeth" and "The Story of the Dog's Tail Extending Like a Rooster's Comb," as well as less familiar legends like "The Legend of the Zodiac and Animal Toe Relationships" and "The Legend of Pan Hu." The film features over 500 cartoon designs, some exaggerated and comical, others detailed and realistic, and others surreal and bizarre. Examples include the smart and lovable, all-powerful Golden Snub-nosed Monkey with a soaring nose, the always curious, curly-haired and chubby Pang Ya, and the perpetually jumping, big-nosed Mao Tou, among others. Behind each design lies a lively, humorous, and witty story. This book is the first volume of the comic series "Golden Snub-nosed Monkey's Journey to the Zodiac Kingdom."
