Features: The Golden Snub-nosed Monkey's Journey to the Zodiac Kingdom is compiled from the essence of Chinese zodiac myths, folk tales, and idiomatic stories that have been passed down for over two thousand years. Each story stands independently, with plots that are fantastical and whimsical, and content that is humorous and quirky. The stories include well-known tales such as The Legend of the Ox Without Upper Teeth and The Tale of the Dog's Tail Continuation, as well as less familiar legends like The Legend of the Zodiac and Animal Toe Relationships and The Legend of Pan Hu. The series features over 500 cartoon designs, some exaggerated and comical, others detailed and realistic, and some surreal and bizarre. Examples include the smart and lovable, all-powerful Golden Snub-nosed Monkey with a soaring nose, the always curious, curly-haired, chubby Pang Ya, and the perpetually bouncing, big-nosed Mao Tou, among others. Behind each design lies a lively and humorous story. This book is the comic adaptation of The Golden Snub-nosed Monkey's Journey to the Zodiac Kingdom (Issue 1, Part 4).
