Features: Competitiveness, in simple terms, is the ability of economic entities to compete for resources and market share in a market economy. This book elaborates on the impact and role of competitiveness in market economics from five aspects: national competitiveness, regional competitiveness, industrial competitiveness, urban competitiveness, and enterprise competitiveness. The practical significance of establishing competitiveness economics is that China's peaceful rise can follow the laws of competitiveness economics, enhancing the country's comprehensive strength and competitiveness. In international trade and foreign investment, it aims for mutual benefit and win-win cooperation with partners. Domestic scholars have published numerous monographs on competitiveness research, but most of these works focus on only one level of competitiveness. To our knowledge, comprehensive monographs that cover competitiveness at all levels were only published in 2003 by Jin Bei, titled "Competitiveness Economics." The collective edited work "Introduction to Competitiveness Economics" is based on a careful study of domestic scholars' research achievements and incorporates some insights from our recent two years of research and teaching practices, providing an introductory textbook on this discipline for leaders.
