The book is divided into two parts. A market economy is a rule of law economy. To adapt to the new demands of the market economy in the 21st century and to meet the challenges of "accession to the WTO," we organized teachers from more than ten universities to write this series of textbooks to serve as teaching materials for undergraduate and junior college students majoring in law. This textbook has the following features:
1. Reflects the latest achievements in legal theory and new developments in legislation and law enforcement. This series of textbooks strives to incorporate new research findings and cutting-edge theoretical perspectives in legal studies, using newly promulgated or revised laws and regulations, especially those issued or amended after China's accession to the WTO.
2. Emphasizes the scientificity of the organizational structure. As a whole, we paid attention to the scientific and logical consistency within each book during the writing process, as well as to the cross-disciplinary and complementary relationships between different subjects, avoiding repetition and omissions.
3. Focuses on foundational materials and reasonably controls the difficulty level of the content. The main revisions made in this edition include:
1. Revisions were made to some theoretical viewpoints and references to laws and regulations in the original textbook to make them more contemporary and accurate. The revised edition incorporates the latest achievements in legal research in recent years, removes outdated laws and regulations, and adds newly promulgated ones, reflecting the latest developments in China's legislative and judicial practices.
2. Some adjustments were made to the organizational structure of the original textbook to enhance its scientificity and logic. The new edition draws on the lessons of the previous version, adjusting the chapter structure within each book while paying attention to the cross-disciplinary and complementary relationships between different textbooks and legal disciplines, avoiding repetition and omissions.
3. The language of the original textbook was further refined to make it more concise and clear. The new edition maintains the style of the previous version, striving to be brief, well-written, using accurate terminology, and easy to understand.
