Features: The book "China Trade Performance Index (1996-2000)" edited by the author was published by the University Press of International Business and Economics in September 2004. In 2004, the author was invited twice by the China Society of Foreign Trade and Economic Statistics to introduce the China Trade Performance Index in business training sessions for foreign trade and economic statistics analysts across various regions in China. This book is divided into three parts: General Theory, Product, and Region, totaling forty-eight chapters. Some chapters of the General Theory part adjust the principles of the China Trade Performance Index. This chapter adjusts the basic indicators, the standardization methods of the basic indicators, the synthesis methods of the comprehensive indicators, and so on. The second chapter analyzes the current index of China's trade performance in 2003 and the change index from 1999 to 2003. The second part, Product, the third chapter introduces the ranking of the current index and change index of China's trade performance for all products. Chapters 4 to 17 respectively introduce the ranking of the current index and change index of China's trade performance for various products and the strong regions for exporting these products. Chapters 18 to 48 respectively introduce the current index and change index of China's trade performance for different products in various regions of China, and also conclude which products in each region have relatively ideal and less ideal export performance, as well as relatively ideal and less ideal development prospects.
