Features: Rocking Swing Game Preparation
1. One (action toy doll) and several colorful, noise-making toys. (See right image)
2. One towel blanket and background music (optional).
Process
1. The teacher introduces the game "Rocking Swing."
Teacher: "Babies often playing on their stomachs can help develop neck and arm support strength, preparing them for crawling exercises. Today, I brought many fun toys. You can let your baby lie face down on the floor, place the toys in front of them, and let them play. But be sure the toys are not too close to your baby's face."
2. The teacher introduces the game "Swing" and demonstrates how to play.
Teacher: "Today, we will also play an interesting game called 'Swing,' which can stimulate your baby's vestibular system. This game requires two adults to cooperate, and I will assist you and your baby in playing it."
Teacher demonstrates the play method: Lay out the towel blanket, place the on its back on the towel, and have two teachers stand at both ends of the blanket, holding the corners with their hands to sway left and right.
Tips for parents: When your baby is lying on their back, place their head on one side of the teacher so they can see the parents. The swaying motion should be gentle, starting small and gradually increasing, then slowly stopping. If your baby is uncomfortable, reduce the swaying motion or pause the game.
3. Parents and babies play freely.
"Your baby is starting to exercise!" The lead teacher helps each parent and baby play the "Swing" game, while the assistant teacher guides the other babies in playing "Rocking Swing."
4. Play music, ask parents and babies to return to their original positions, and rest while listening to the music. Under the teacher's guidance, parents can gently massage their baby's neck, shoulders, arms, and legs, giving them a simple massage.
