Features: With the acceleration of urbanization and rapid economic growth, we are entering a new era characterized by innovation. People's living environments, attitudes, and lifestyles have undergone significant changes, showing a trend toward personalization and fashion. The pursuit of fashion has become a key indicator of improved living quality, while the rise of urban culture has elevated fashion to a significant position in the city's economy and cultural life. Fashion studies have also become an unavoidable topic in contemporary design. At the end of 2005, "Insect Calculation" received unanimous praise in the college's teaching inspection, contributing to the establishment of the Basic Department of the Urban Design College. In March 2006, the Urban Design College finally fulfilled its long-standing wish by establishing the Basic Department, integrating the strengths of its four existing programs and achieving effective sharing of educational resources. In September 2006, the research outcomes of "Insect Calculation" will be extended to a year-long teaching curriculum, continuing to grow with the participation of new teachers from various departments of the college. The development of the Basic Department will also drive reforms in the college's teaching system, establishing a true platform for teaching exchange and achieving the integration of educational resources across the entire college. Our ideal is to extend students' limitless creativity into professional learning, ultimately transforming it into productive force to benefit society.
