Patient's question:
I have disliked sex since I was young and have never been bothered by it. But recently, I heard from a friend that sex can lead to varicocele. Is this true?Doctor's answer:
Sexual intercourse will never cause varicocele prevention work. Varicocele is best prevented by avoiding frequent sexual urges. Mild varicocele without symptoms can be managed by quitting unhealthy habits if it does not interfere with the affected area. Varicocele is the extension, bending, and expansion of the spermatic cord. Autopsy factors are the cause of this disease. Physical factors such as the rich blood supply of the scrotal contents in young adults, prolonged standing, and increased abdominal pressure are also contributing factors; other factors such as retroperitoneal tumors, renal tumors, hydronephrosis, and compression of the spermatic vein can lead to symptoms or secondary varicocele.
