Features: In the process of the development of international economic law, two main theories have emerged: Some scholars refer to them as the "Narrow Definition Theory" and the "Broad Definition Theory"; others call them the "Traditional School" and the "Emerging School"; still others refer to them as the "International Law Perspective of International Economic Law" and the "Independent Perspective of International Economic Law." Among these two theories, the latter has been accepted by most international economic law scholars both domestically and internationally, while scholars holding this theory constitute only a minority. This book will critically analyze the views of these two theories on some controversial fundamental issues of international economic law, as well as other related perspectives, and propose our systematic and new theoretical insights. Specifically, the book is divided into ten chapters: the first chapter discusses international economic relations and international economic coordination, the second chapter examines the history and current state of international economic law, and chapters three to eight respectively explore the concept, principles, status, sources, subjects, and system of international economic law. Chapters nine and ten discuss the resolution of international economic disputes and China's practice in international economic law.
