Features: This book, Internet and Ideological and Political Work Cases, together with the Introduction to Internet and Ideological and Political Work and Practicalities of Internet and Ideological and Political Work published in the past two years, as well as the dedicated software The Path of Ideological and Political Work Online, form the core achievements of the major project "Innovative Research on Internet and Ideological and Political Work" under the 15th National Social Science Fund of China. It is also an important part of the "3+1" series on the innovation of Internet and ideological and political work. The book was completed through in-depth exploration and collaborative research by ideological and political workers, theoreticians, and educators from 72 universities across the country, as well as from 36 organizations such as China Telecom Group and China Construction Bank, who engaged in model selection → qualitative evaluation → characteristic analysis → law expression → practical integration → external verification → sample standardization → demonstration promotion for the Internet and Ideological and Political Work Cases. The book takes the discovery and formation of "specific solutions for bringing ideological and political work online" as its origin and goal, focusing on current hotspots and challenges—deepening online education, promoting online Party building, shaping online pioneers, cultivating online culture, implementing online moral governance, enhancing online teaching, optimizing online care, and inspiring online innovation in eight aspects. It is committed to the specific launch strategies, entry tactics, operational methods, and control techniques of online ideological and political work. The book adheres to the combination of genuine insights and theoretical reflection, the integration of problem response and practical operation, the balance between individual exploration and systematic practice, the coordination of online operations and offline traditional methods, and the synergy of problem-solving and law discovery.
The "cases" studied and reported in this book fall into three types:
(1) Old problems, new solutions cases. These are long-standing, perplexing, and difficult-to-solve issues in traditional ideological and political work that are effectively or quickly resolved using internet information technology, showing significant advantages compared to traditional methods.
(2) New problems, new solutions cases. These are issues that either did not exist or were rare in traditional ideological and political work but emerged in the internet era, appeared in concentrated or large quantities, or had a significant impact. Cases that adopt proactive and effective measures to address these new situations and problems, achieving success (or lessons from setbacks), are included.
(3) Post-problems, current solutions cases. These are problems that, on the surface, seem unrelated to internet information technology but occur, develop, and evolve in the contemporary era of internet informatization, with their essence closely tied to the internet information age. Cases that are well-solved or preliminarily solved are included.
Each case report consists of three sections: "Practice" (or "Focus"), "Reflection," and "Suggestions." The "Practice" section uses factual, descriptive, and narrative methods to highlight the methods of introducing ideological and political work, its impact pathways, and actual outcomes. The "Reflection" section emphasizes mechanism research and significance evaluation. The "Suggestions" section focuses on the specific requirements and boundaries for promoting the proposed solutions.
This book fully demonstrates the proactive response of contemporary ideological and political workers to the challenges of internet informatization, their commitment to keeping pace with the times and, their passion, wisdom, responsibility, and unwavering dedication. It is suitable for leaders and ideological and political workers from all walks of life.
