This textbook is compiled based on the author's years of teaching and research experience and is primarily used as a teaching material for financial accounting majors in higher vocational, technical colleges, and adult higher education institutions for the course of "Accounting Computerization." Written from the perspective of practical application, the textbook emphasizes the cultivation of applied skills, with essential knowledge being limited to "necessary and sufficient." The goal is to develop students' practical abilities in accounting computerization. The textbook has the following features: 1. It elaborates on the basic processes and methods of information system development from the perspective of financial accounting professional application, enabling students to master the basic processes of accounting computerization system development and familiarize themselves with its methods. 2. It summarizes accounting software from different accounting software companies and elaborates on the common procedures of accounting software application, enabling students to master the basic principles of accounting software application, as well as the basic processes and methods of ledger processing, salary, and reporting software operation. 3. It deepens and applies the knowledge of introductory computer languages (e.g., FoxBASE) from a programming perspective, elaborates on and provides core functional module programming templates, enabling students to master the basic processes of accounting software programming and the basic methods of core functional module programming (such as drop-down menus, full-screen editing, code maintenance, data addition, deletion, modification, query, and printing). 4. It elaborates on a series of operational accounting computerization system management systems in accordance with national regulations and references the management systems of accounting computerization systems in different units, enabling students to master a series of management systems for accounting computerization systems.
