Features: This book is a public course textbook for teacher education students in normal universities and colleges, organized and compiled by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Educational Technology in Higher Education. It focuses on the two main aspects of educational technology: media technology and system technology. Specifically, it introduces the production, application of teaching media, and systematic methods for teaching design in the teaching/learning process, aiming to cultivate students' teaching skills. The book is divided into six chapters:
Chapter 1 introduces the relevant knowledge of educational technology;
Chapter 2 provides a detailed introduction to various types of media, such as visual, auditory, audiovisual, and interactive media, as well as the characteristics and applications of multimedia teaching systems and modern information transmission systems in teaching/learning;
Chapter 3 emphasizes the design and production methods of various teaching materials, such as slides, projectors, audio recordings, video recordings, and computer-assisted teaching software;
Chapter 4 systematically introduces the basic principles and methods of teaching design;
Chapter 5 introduces the basic teaching skills and training methods for micro-teaching;
Chapter 6 introduces five experiments, through which students can develop hands-on skills, understand, and initially master the production methods of several teaching software and the use of teaching equipment.
In addition to serving as a textbook for normal universities and colleges, this book can also be used as a training textbook for teacher training and continuing education for teachers.
