Author: (South Korea) Kim Yun-jik et al., translated by Kim Sang and Zhang Chun-jik
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2003-04-01
Features: The compilation of this book begins with the consensus to overcome the division of the nation from the perspective of literary history. Therefore, in terms of overall planning, although the research fields and specialties of each contributor are different, the effort to comprehensively elaborate on the history of literature and art, heal the wounds caused by division, and strive to ensure a healthy concept should still be recognized. Additionally, during the narrative process of this book, efforts are made to ensure the representativeness of the works discussed, so exaggerated conclusions can be excluded. However, due to the large number of participants and varying viewpoints, achieving complete and thorough unity is difficult. Nevertheless, at the same time, as individuals with different personalities contribute academically within the same system, a certain degree of academic democracy can be achieved, which is one of the features of this book.
