Features: International Strategic Studies is an important content in the teaching and research of international politics. The present work, "International Strategic Studies," is one of the "21st Century International Politics Series Textbooks" organized by the School of International Relations at Renmin University of China. In writing this book, we adhere to the scientific ideas of international strategy from Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and the Important Thought of Three Represents as the guiding principle. We strive to learn from all outstanding research achievements, basic theories, and scientific methods from ancient and modern China and abroad. We apply the principles of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, methods of comprehensive and comparative research, methods of contradiction analysis, historical methods, and a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, based on reliable historical and realistic data, to introduce the basic theories, basic methods, and fundamental knowledge of international strategic studies to readers in a systematic, comprehensive, and accurate manner. The entire book is structured according to an inherent logical order, covering such topics as what international strategy and international strategic studies are, a historical examination of national foreign behavior and the concept of national interests, the principles of international strategy, international strategy analysis, national international strategy decision-making, the implementation of international strategy, the theory and models of strategic planning in international strategy, and the theory and practice of China's international strategy. It is divided into eleven chapters.
