Features: Theories and application methods of object-oriented technology, essentially a natural way to represent the objective world, a software design method that transcends the complexity barrier of the problem domain and achieves computability. Learning Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA/OOD/OOP) not only helps master an important method of computer software design but also fosters a good research approach and attitude for solving practical problems. Therefore, in the reform of Tsinghua University's curriculum, we adjusted the teaching content and methods of this course, originally offered to graduate students, to suit undergraduate students. The course "Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming" is now offered in the third year of undergraduate studies, preparing students for social practice and graduation projects. Through teaching practice, students generally found the course highly refreshing and beneficial for developing their skills. This textbook is based on our classroom teaching notes. In terms of content, it teaches both the basic methods of object-oriented analysis and the implementation of object-oriented design and programming, forming a logically coherent integrated system. In the course's practical assignments, we only specify the required standards, allowing students to freely choose between C++ or Java as the tool. Learning this course does not require prior knowledge of C; instead, students start directly with object-oriented analysis and design, enabling them to grasp the new programming method more quickly.
