Features: Although the field of trade law is extensive, the most significant impact on import and export countries and merchants should belong to the system of trade relief. When manufacturers suffer harm or adverse effects from measures or actions of foreign governments or foreign manufacturers, they can only turn to their governments to seek protection. However, due to the chaotic nature of the measures and actions of foreign governments or foreign manufacturers, as well as the differences in the extent and forms of adverse effects on Taiwanese manufacturers, various forms of relief have been developed in trade law. The United States is the country that implements the most trade relief systems and has the most complete system. Therefore, this book discusses the theoretical and practical issues involved in the relief system from the perspective of U.S. law. The main relief systems addressed in this book are the Section 301 Retaliation Clause, the Escape Clause, the Anti-Dumping Duty System, the Countervailing Duty System, and the Section 337 Clause applicable to intellectual property rights.
