Features: In the process of the development of international economic law, two main theories have emerged: Some scholars refer to them as the "Narrow Definition Theory" and the "Broad Definition Theory"; some scholars call them the "Traditional School" and the "Emerging School"; some scholars refer to them as the "International Law Perspective of International Economic Law" and the "Independent Perspective of International Economic Law." Among the above two theories, the latter has been accepted by most international economic law scholars both domestically and internationally. Scholars holding this theory constitute only a minority.
