Features: This book has been a long-term bestseller in the same category on Amazon.com and is highly recommended by Rob Howard, the project manager of Microsoft's ASP.NET team. The Chinese version is translated by Professor Tang Tao of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Classic and authoritative are the best interpretations of this book. The book is divided into 10 parts and 31 chapters, covering all aspects of building ASP.NET applications under the .NET framework. Each chapter is not just a general discussion of theory but is organized around practical sample code, allowing readers to get started immediately and deepen their understanding. The book also includes two complete, ready-to-use ASP.NET applications: an employment site and an online store, demonstrating most of the common features of ASP.NET in practical applications. The accompanying CD-ROM contains all the source code in the book, as well as some controls and technical articles. The language of the book is somewhat plain, but everything discussed are the most concerned issues by programmers. "Practicality" is the only measure for technical books, and this book takes this concept to the extreme.
