Features: Scientists have researched and found that according to biological principles, human memory is divided into three types: genetic memory, immune memory, and neural memory. Genetic memory is the genetic memory. In sex cells, all the structures and principles of biological activity are recorded. These characteristics are passed down from generation to generation through sex cells. Genetic memory is highly inert and difficult to change. It is precisely because of this that the next generation is similar to the previous one, and it avoids the mixing of various factors in nature. The amount of information in genetic memory is very large, reaching 10^10 bits. The scientific community believes that as long as 2% of the genetic factors can retain all the information of the human body structure. So what kind of information do the remaining 98% of the genetic factors contain? It turns out that some genetic factors are inherited from human ancestors. This part of the factors can be said to be given by nature. They are usually in a hidden state, and once a disaster occurs on Earth, and the living conditions become similar to those of the ancestors' living environment, modern humans will produce organs that are helpful to their survival. The second type of memory is immune memory. In human blood, there are very small cells that are self-sacrificing, and they live for a very short time. Their main function is to eliminate as many enemies as possible in the human body. Lymphocytes react quickly to bacteria or simple toxic substances that invade the blood, produce antibodies, and "stick" harmful substances to prevent them from entering other organs. Immune cells can easily distinguish foreign cells, remember them, and retain them. Once a person has had measles and scarlet fever, they will gain lifelong immunity. The third type of memory is neural memory. When we say "bad memory," we refer to neural memory. Its information capacity is as high as 10^11 bits. Although scientists have been studying neural memory for a long time, they still know very little about its mechanism. What is currently known is that it consists of several stages. This memory begins with perception, and the stronger the sensation, the more firmly it is remembered. Neural memory is divided into short-term and long-term types. Short-term information is only retained for several minutes, such as when a person hears a new phone number, they can remember it in the short term. The amount of this memory is not large, and without special training, one can only remember 5 to 7 units of information, and the time is very short. Fortunately, our phone numbers are usually just a few digits long. However, this memory is not very reliable, and as soon as attention is slightly, it will be forgotten completely. If the information is very important, or it causes a great shock to a person and will be needed in the future, then it may become long-term memory, or even lifelong memory. The process of transforming short-term memory into long-term memory is due to the function of the hippocampal tissue located deep in the temporal lobe of the brain. P19-20
