Features: The basic philosophy of the "Growth Series · New Classic Reading" is "Reading in the process of growing, growing in the process of reading," enabling children to absorb spiritual nourishment through reading classic works and complete "spiritual growth." This series of readers revolves around the theme of "growth," divided into six volumes according to the six major fields of self, life, society, nature, science, and culture and arts. Each volume is further divided into eight units based on humanistic themes. The target readers of this series are middle school students, and the writing intention is to emphasize the enlightenment education of classics. Through the process of reading new classics, children are encouraged to appreciate, reflect, broaden their horizons, enhance their cultural taste and aesthetic interests, enrich their spiritual world, and contribute to their healthy development in the future. Reading is important for people, especially for children. The process of reading is both a deepening understanding of life, society, and nature and a process of self-awareness, reflection, improvement, and development. For children, reading can make them think, purify their hearts, and provide them with aesthetic inspiration and enjoyment. Reading is the source of children's extraordinary creativity and the ladder to the spiritual realm. This book is one of the "Growth Series · New Classic Reading," with four reading support sections set up in each article: Introduction, Language Accumulation, Appreciation and Reflection, and Notes Between Lines. In the design of the reading support sections, emphasis is placed on three returns: returning to reading, returning to the text, and returning to thinking. It aims to help children not only immerse themselves in the reading but also gain insights from it.
