Features: This book is a series of vocational pharmacy education textbooks developed by Guangxi Pharmaceutical School. It is divided into three parts: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Chemical Experiments. The Inorganic Chemistry section consists of three chapters, building on the basic knowledge of material structure and the use of the periodic table, focusing on the properties and applications of common ions in drugs, the acidity and alkalinity of solutions at certain concentrations, and their osmotic pressure, with a dedicated section on the testing of inorganic substances. The Organic Chemistry section comprises five chapters, based on the basic structure and representation of organic compounds and the structure and properties of functional groups as the main thread, highlighting the properties of organic compounds and their applications in identification, separation, and purification. The Chemical Experiments section is composed of six modules: basic chemical experimental operations, testing techniques for inorganic substances, solution-related skill training, separation and purification techniques for organic substances, the determination of important physical constants of organic substances, and testing techniques for organic substances. These modules are conducted in the form of projects to train basic experimental skills, and skill application training is provided through experimental exercises in each module. The content of this book is highly practical and reflects the characteristics of vocational education, making it suitable for pharmacy majors in secondary vocational schools and secondary specialized schools.
