Features: Pediatric nephropathy is a common and frequently occurring disease in pediatrics. Statistics show that approximately 360 million children in China suffer from at least 3 million cases of kidney disease. Most pediatric nephropathies follow a chronic clinical course, with symptoms that may persist or recur. Some children eventually develop chronic kidney failure, severely impacting their growth, development, physical and mental health, and even quality of life. This book is divided into two parts and 17 chapters, covering the basic and clinical aspects of pediatric nephropathy. While focusing on introducing relatively mature clinical diagnostic and treatment techniques and recent advancements, it also strives to reflect the characteristics and treatment experiences of pediatric kidney diseases. For pediatric hemodialysis and kidney transplantation techniques, which have not yet been widely implemented in China, we have specially invited colleagues from Hong Kong and urological experts to provide a detailed introduction. The authors of this book are mostly middle-aged and young scholars in pediatric nephropathy research in China. Through long-term clinical practice and research, they have accumulated extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases.
