Patient's question:
Cervix has erosion, pelvic effusion, and mold infectionDoctor's answer:
In your case, it might be a fungal vaginal infection. Patients with fungal vaginal infection exhibit increased vaginal discharge, itching and burning sensation in the external genitalia and vagina, painful urination, and often redness and swelling around the external genitalia. The skin changes can vary widely; they may develop very shallow blisters and papules in clusters, or form eczema-like erosion, limited to the external genitalia or extending to the perineum, around the anus, and in the groin folds, resembling acute or subacute eczema completely. The labia and the area near the clitoris may have thickened mucosa, with reddish and eroded skin surfaces where the skin touches. In some cases, it can cause small white pustules, and in severe cases, ulcers, pain in the external genitalia, and local lymph node enlargement. You can use a solution of sodium bicarbonate to wash the affected area, which may be effective to some extent.
