I am 45 years old this year and have entered menopause. Some friends call me to go

Patient's question:

Irregular menstruation, hot flashes

Doctor's answer:

Menopausal syndrome is a series of symptoms caused by a decline in estrogen levels. In women during menopause, due to the decline in ovarian function and hyperactivity of the pituitary gland, excessive gonadotropin is secreted, leading to dysfunction of the vegetative nervous system, resulting in a series of varying symptoms such as menstrual changes, flushing, palpitations, insomnia, fatigue, depression, excessive worry, emotional instability, irritability, and difficulty concentrating, which are collectively referred to as "menopausal syndrome." Most women experience a gradual decline in ovarian function, and the body's self-regulation and compensation are sufficient to adapt to this change, or they may only have mild symptoms. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believes that menopausal syndrome is caused by insufficient kidney qi, a decline in Tian Gui, leading to an imbalance in the Yin-Yang harmony. Therefore, the primary methods of treatment focus on replenishing kidney qi and adjusting the Yin-Yang balance.
