How is an ovarian cyst treated

Patient's question:

During my postpartum follow-up ultrasound, it was noted: A liquid dark area was observed in the left ovary, approximately 31×23mm in size, with clear boundaries and good internal echo transmission. No significant abnormal echoes were detected in the right adnexal region. A liquid dark area was seen behind the uterus, with a of about 28mm. No abnormal blood flow signals were observed.
What are the symptoms? The previous ultrasound for pregnancy did not show this, only mentioning a liquid dark area behind the uterus, with a of about 22mm. Both ultrasounds indicated pelvic effusion. During the pregnancy checkup, it was mentioned that a yolk sac echo was observed.

Doctor's answer:

It may be caused by an ovarian cyst. You need to go to the hospital for an ultrasound and colposcopy examination. Oral antibiotics, hormones, antihistamines, vitamins, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment are required. Avoid spicy, alcoholic, and cold foods that are irritating. If the effect is not good, you should go to the hospital for minimally invasive surgery treatment. After the surgery, intravenous drip of a large amount of antibiotics is needed for treatment.
